September 3 '99

It is with a heavy heart that I write this update. For those of you that have heard the rumors, it is true that Saturday, September 18th will be Defiants last show. The show will be held at Cheers in Gibsonia, and promises to be a special event. Defiant has been on the scene for 6 and a half years now, and the guys have decided that there are other directions and interests that they would like to explore. So mark your calander for the 18th, and come out to Cheers to wish Defiant a fond farewell. Stay tuned for more details.

April 11 '99

Well Defiant fans, get ready for another Rainbow Metalfest at Kathy's Rainbow in Mt. Pleasant, PA! The event will be held Saturday, May 1st, and the cover at the door is $5. Or you can pick up tickets in advance for $3 at any of the upcoming Defiant shows. The show is being hosted by the guys from Sanitarium, and will also include performances by Skin-N-Bonez, Empire, and of course, yours truly, Defiant!

The band member bios page has been updated. New photos of the guys (courtesy of Leah Klocko from 3WS) have been posted in the bios. Also added are a few new show sates for the beginning of may.

Remember, if there's anything you'd like to see on the site, of if you have something to contribute, drop us a line and let us know!

It's been a difficult task, but the Defiant site has been updated! Thanks to all for being patient through this dry spell! Glitches seem to be fixed and the updates have been made. Recent updates are to Showsates, Band Bios, Photo Gallery, and Merchandise. If you have any ideas or material you'd like to submit, contact us and let us know!

Well fans, Defiant is now a five piece! The members of Defiant have welcomed Paul Lancaster to group. Paul is a lead guitarist and backing vocalist. Paul and Fred will share leads to compliment Defiant's sound. Check out Paul's bio along with the rest of Defiant's members!

Alas, the technical gremlins have struck again! This time it's a few minor problems with my scanner. The images I'm scanning of photos to upload haven't been turning out right, but the problem is being accessed. As soon as things are ironed out, I'll have more photos to add to the Gallery! Stay tuned!

They're here! The Real Audio sound clips have been uploaded, and are ready for your listening pleasure. All you need is a Real Player (a link for the player is available on the sound files page) and your ready to go! Check them out, and drop us a line to let us know what you think.

News Flash! On Friday, Sept. 18th, Defiant will be opening at C.J.'s Clubhouse for L.A. GUNS! Come on out and help rock the place!!

You'll also want to be at Cheer's on October 31st this year for Defiant's 'All 80's Halloween Party'! Come see the horrific scene of Chris with his leather pants and hair teased Glam Rock style! And cringe with fright as Heath will be wearing spandex!

For those of you who have been waiting patiently, the basics of the Defiant page are almost complete! The most recent edition is the Band members biograghy page. Not to worry though, were expecting new studio photos of the guy's to replace the ones on the bios page. Also anticipated for the near future are Real Audio sample clips from Defiant's "Hear the Laugh", so if you don't have a Real Audio player, you might want to think about getting one. When we have the samples ready, we'll try to post a link so you can download one if you don't already have one! Stay tuned!
